According

A copy of
the decision has been sent to the four provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan and

Meanwhile,
arrangements should be made to open the school with precautionary measures
against corona. The Corona situation will be reviewed in the first and last

The next
strategy for opening the school on September 15 will be decided. On the other
hand, on the direction of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, a special meeting of the
Cabinet Committee on Corona and Dengue Control has also been held in which the
proposal of smart lockdown during Eid-ul-Adha was considered.
It was
decided at the meeting that parks and recreational places would remain closed
on Eid-ul-Adha. It was decided in the meeting that the administrative office of
the schools would be opened and the administrative staff would be allowed to
come but the students and teachers would not be allowed to come in the schools.
During the meeting, the Secretary School Education said that as per the
decision of the federal government, the education department would issue
complete guidelines on schools SOPs before opening schools.
Schools are
being considered to run in two shifts and there will be two and a half hour
classes in each shift. Handwash, masks and other necessary safety measures will
be ensured in schools. Similarly, it was decided in a special meeting of the
Punjab Cabinet Committee on Corona and Dengue Control today that the issuance

He also
said in a TV program yesterday that we are not announcing any final date for
the opening of the school on September 15. I am under a lot of pressure to open
a school, but I will not tolerate any pressure. Because, God willing, if
something happens to a child, then everyone has to blame me. So we will decide
to open the school only after looking at the whole situation. He said that even
if the schools were reopened from September 15, these classes would be called.
Just as the fifth class will be called, because the children of this class have
to go to the elementary section, so will the ninth after the eighth class.
Strict SOPs will be made regarding these students and the school.
