flooded. The roads of Korangi, Creek Road, North Nazimabad, KDA, Chowrangi and
Nagan Chowrangi remained submerged due to which the citizens faced
difficulties.
As soon as it rained in Karachi, the electric system
collapsed. Many feeders tripped. The lights have been missing for several hours
in North Nazimabad, Lyari, Saddar, Malir, and Korangi. Residents of Liaqatabad,
Ancholi and Federal B Area are also in trouble.
In the direction of Sindh Chief Minister, members of the
provincial cabinet visited different areas of the city last night. Murtaza
Wahab reviewed the situation of waterboard pumping stations in Lyari, Clifton, and other areas. Local Government Minister Nasir Shah, Saeed Ghani visited
Liaquat National Hospital, surrounding areas and described the situation as
satisfactory.
