Due to the threat of Corona in Lahore, it has been decided to re-launch Smart Lockdown in 7 areas. According to details, Johar Town, Green Town, Township, Chongi Amrsadho, Wapda Town and EME Society will be closed completely. Authorities say there is a risk of more cases of corona in these areas, so smart lockdowns are being carried out in these areas as a precaution to avoid the dangers of corona.
It may be recalled that earlier on July 4, after the positive results of the smart lockdown in Lahore, the cell areas were reopened. Defense, Garden Town, Gulberg, Model Town, Faisal Town, Gulshan-e-Ravi and the inner city were sealed off due to increasing cases of corona, after which traffic in these areas was restricted. But now that positive results have emerged, the areas have been reopened.



Talking in this regard, the Deputy Commissioner Lahore said that after fresh sampling in the said areas, the number of corona cases has come down due to which it has been decided to reopen the areas, adding that the police have now taken to the streets. Barriers have also been removed so that citizens can travel comfortably. Apart from Lahore, smart lockdown was also carried out in other cities of the country after which positive results have come out from all over the country.
However, after the positive results, the cell areas of Karachi were also de-sealed. However, today 3 areas of Islamabad have also been de-sealed after the number of corona cases decreased. It is to be noted that the situation regarding corona in Pakistan is also improving, so far more than 140,000 victims of corona have recovered across the country, the number of active cases has come down to 91,602.



According to the latest figures, 140,965 people have recovered from the corona virus across the country, while the number of active cases has steadily declined to 90,000. According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Control Operations Center, 83 people have died of the deadly corona virus in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona deaths in the country to 4,000.
