the loans were suspended so that the member states could effectively cope with
the Corona virus outbreak. The provision of short-term loans is set up by the
IMF under the Fund established to deal with the Karuna virus. Loans received
under this facility can be used by countries to maintain and maintain balance
in payments during the days of the outbreak. Member countries will get quota up
to 145%.
