Areas that have been sealed include Raiwand, Chah Mehran, Alexandria Colony, Begum Kot Shahdara, Rustam Park Gulshan Ravi, Mughal Pura Railway Colony, Small Industry Housing Colony, Cantt, Defense B and Bedian Road.
In these areas, the movement of people, entry and exit has been completely banned. In this regard, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that the number of people affected by the Karuna virus in Punjab is not alarming. In the province of a population of 10 million people, only 19 deaths from deadly virus have been reported from Western countries. Too few.
So far, out of the 31535 suspects, only 2414 were diagnosed with Corona, 1467 were kept in Quarantina, mostly belonging to the pilgrims or the Tablighi group, which is being dealt with under different strategies. The provincial health minister said that 811 of the total victims of the province belong to Lahore, while the others belong to Gujarat and Rawalpindi and most of these patients have a travel history. The provincial government has set up eight field hospitals to get rid of the Corona virus. The Minister of Health says that it is commendable that three to four affected patients are going home every day to recover.
